Hunt on for 21 wild boar released in Maesteg burglary

Police are on the trail of 21 wild boar which were set free during a burglary in Bridgend county at the weekend.

The animals were released from their pen on Sunday lunchtime and could have travelled many miles from their farm in Maesteg.

Anyone who sees them is advised not approach them, but to call 101.

Naturalist and broadcaster Iolo Williams, the patron of the Wild Boar Trust, told Oliver Hides on BBC Radio Wales that he has hunted wild boar and they are "fantastic animals".
