Sufferer Derek Cummings welcomes respiratory health plan

Plans to reduce the number of patients suffering from lung disease in Wales have been announced by the Welsh government.

The five-year Respiratory Health Delivery Plan sets out what action is needed to make a difference to the lives of those living with illnesses like asthma, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) - a collective term for a range of respiratory illnesses.

Reporter Steffan Messenger spoke to Derek Cummings, from Gelli in Rhondda Cynon Taf, who has had COPD for the last 27 years.
