Fly-tipping fear over bin collection changes in Gwynedd

Fears over increased fly-tipping have been raised following a decision to introduce three-weekly black bag collections in Gwynedd.

The council said its weekly kerbside recycling and food collection services justified the system, starting in October.

Gwynedd is thought to be the second council in the UK to introduce household rubbish collections every three weeks, after Falkirk in Scotland.

Cllr Gareth Roberts, Gwynedd council's cabinet member for the environment, and Cllr Christopher O'Neale, who represents the Bangor ward, spoke to BBC Radio Wales.
