Fire crew walk-out in Cardiff applauded by supporters

Supporters applaud firefighters at Cardiff central station who are taking part in a five-hour walk out in a dispute over pensions.

The strike action started at 12:00 BST on Friday with further stoppages on Saturday and Sunday.

Firefighters are urging people to take care over the bank holiday weekend when fire cover will be reduced.

The UK government plans to raise firefighters' retirement age from 55 to 60 and increase pension contributions.
