Queen's Baton Relay to begin tour of Wales

The Queen's Baton Relay arrives in Wales on Saturday morning when it lands at Cardiff Airport.

It will spend seven days in Wales and 177 people will carry the baton, which contains a message to athletes from the Queen.

The first baton relay was held in 1958 ahead of the Cardiff Games.

After its arrival in Cardiff, the baton will be carried to the mining memorial at Six Bells.
