Hospital services shake-up supported by Cwm Taf patient watchdog

Controversial plans to centralise some specialist hospital services at five sites in south Wales will go ahead.

It move comes after patient watchdog Cwm Taf Community Health Board decided it would not ask Health Minister Mark Drakeford to review the proposals.

It had opposed plans that will see consultant-led care for mothers and children and specialist A&E care moved from the Royal Glamorgan hospital in Llantrisant.
