Euro elections: 'Valleys are ours for the taking,' says UKIP
The UK Independence Party has claimed "the valleys are ours for the taking" after increasing its share of the vote in much of south Wales in the European elections.
The party came a close second to Labour in the overall vote in Wales and were about 700 votes away from first place in the traditional Labour area of Torfaen.
Gwent valleys reporter Paul Heaney asked people there why they supported UKIP and political editor Nick Servini gave BBC Wales Today presenter Lucy Owen his reaction to the election results.
