Snowdonia airfield may be Britain's first spaceport

Flying to space could become a reality soon as an airfield in Wales is one of eight sites shortlisted as a base for Britains's first spaceport.

Llanbedr airport in southern Snowdonia is the only site in Wales on the list.

The announcement was made by the UK government at the Farnborough International Airshow.
