World War One: Wales' fallen honoured in Flanders

A service has been held in Langemark, Belgium, at the unveiling of a monument to honour the Welsh servicemen killed in World War One.

It is estimated 40,000 soldiers, sailors and airmen from Wales died during the 1914 to 1918 war.

Peter Carter Jones, who led Wales' campaign for a memorial to the Welsh dead of World War One, said he was determined to get a permanent dedication to the fallen.
