WW1 memorial to honour Welsh dead unveiled in Belgium

A new memorial has been unveiled in Belgium to commemorate the services of Welsh men and women during World War One.

It follows years of work by campaigners who wanted a permanent dedication to the Welsh victims of the conflict.

The bronze dragon stands near Ypres where soldiers from Wales fought on the first day of the Battle of Passchendaele.
