Turner Prize 2014: Cardiff-born James Richards tipped
It is the art event that launched the careers of Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin, and this year a Welshman is the favourite to win the Turner Prize.
Not much is known about James Richards, who is from Cardiff but now lives and works in London and Berlin.
His work has just gone on display in London, where he is up against three other artists for the prize which will be awarded in December.
Richards is nominated for Rosebud - a film collage which includes erotic photographs with explicit detail removed by censors who rubbed the pages with sandpaper.
He was missing from the shortlist media launch, where BBC Wales arts correspondent Huw Thomas went to find out more about him and his work.
