Plaid Cymru call to improve Welsh NHS performance

Plaid Cymru has urged Labour to improve its running of the NHS in Wales.

It follows a week of sustained criticism of Welsh Labour's record on health by the Conservatives and the Daily Mail newspaper.

Health Minister Mark Drakeford defended Labour's performance, saying the NHS was under pressure throughout the UK.

Plaid Cymru's health spokesperson Elin Jones told the BBC's Sunday Politics Wales that Labour's best defence was to stop giving ammunition to its critics.
