John Allen: 'I just wanted him to look at me' says victim
A victim of paedophile John Allen has said the former children's care homes boss refused to look at him during the two month trial.
John Allen, 73, of Needham Market, Suffolk, was given a life sentence at Mold Crown Court on Monday after being convicted of 33 charges last week.
He carried out the catalogue of abuse in the late 1960s up to the early 1990s.
The judge ordered Allen must serve a minimum of 11 years in jail.
Victim Michael Cardiff gave up his right to anonymity to tell BBC Wales they had got justice.
Mr Cardiff said: "I wanted him to look at me for one minute, but he wouldn't."
He was one of those who spoke to reporter Roger Pinney as Allen was led away in handcuffs.
