Sex abuse conviction 'shows victims are being heard'
A review of an inquiry into historic child abuse in north Wales has found that survivors are being heard.
The report, by the Children's Commissioner for Wales Keith Towler, says Operation Pallial has been successful in its goal to be victim-focused, but that some lessons do need to be learnt.
John Allen was jailed for life in 2014 for sexually abusing boys between the 1960s and 1990s.
It was the first conviction for the abuse investigation.
Roger Pinney has been following the developments.
