Hollywood's Sheen backs bid to reopen Rhondda tunnel
Hollywood star Michael Sheen has thrown his support behind reopening a disused Rhondda railway tunnel.
The Blaencwm tunnel has been closed for nearly 50 years but the Rhondda Tunnel Society wants it reopen the 3km (1.8 miles) route to Blaengwynfi, Neath Port Talbot, for cyclists, walkers and tourists.
Sheen has spoken of the "enormous potential for tourism" in the project.
In May this year, the Welsh government said it would commission a study to look at reopening the tunnel for tourism.
