Betsi Cadwaladr health boss: 'We have made a start'

After 100 days in special measures, the head of the health board covering north Wales says there have been "tangible improvements" to the services.

But Simon Dean, the acting chief executive of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, accepted that there was still "much more to do".

The health board was placed in special measures in June after a report found "institutional abuse" at a mental health unit.

Speaking on BBC Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales programme, Mr Dean said mental health services have been one area that staff have focused on in the last three months.
