'Huge space' created in politics, says Kirsty Williams AM

A "huge space has opened up in British politics" with the potential for the Liberal Democrats to benefit, according to the party's Welsh leader.

Kirsty Williams was referring to the appointment of new Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn, seen by some as a "hard-left" politician.

She said the assembly election could be "challenging" in 2016 after the party's "devastating" General Election result.

Ms Williams made the comments on BBC Radio Wales's Sunday Supplement.
