3D 'fly through' animation shows £2bn south Wales Metro

An animated 3D video outlining the £2bn plan for a Metro in south Wales has been unveiled.

The Welsh government plan is likely to be a mix of light rail, trams, improved trains and faster buses by 2020 in Cardiff, Bridgend, Newport and the valleys.

Public exhibitions are being held to raise awareness of the Metro, which it is hoped has the potential to transform the economy of the region.

First Minister Carwyn Jones said he is "delighted" more people will get the chance to learn about the project.
