TVR: Why was Ebbw Vale chosen?

Sports car company TVR is to base its new factory in Wales, it has been announced.

The plant will create 150 jobs on the Ebbw Vale enterprise zone, which is still hoping to be home to the £325m Circuit of Wales.

New owners, who bought the British brand three years ago, will start production there next year.

TVR chairman Les Edgar explained why Ebbw Vale had been chosen for its assembly plant, while First Minister Carwyn Jones said it was a boost for the enterprise zone.
