'In the absence of silence' play draws on domestic abuse accounts
The experiences of domestic violence victims living in some rural areas of Wales have been written into a play soon to tour the country.
London-based theatre company Chicken Shed travelled to Wales three years ago and held meetings and workshops to help people who had experienced domestic violence.
Christine Niering, creator of 'in the absence of silence', external, said women's stories needed to be heard.
It was co-produced with arts development group Creu Cymru, external with help from South Gwynedd Domestic Abuse Services, external.
