Circuit of Wales race track plans 'gigantic for Ebbw Vale'

Former rally co-driver champion Nicky Grist said plans for a motor racing track in Blaenau Gwent are "gigantic" for the area and could boost jobs and visitor numbers.

The Welsh Government will announce on Wednesday whether it will support the construction of the £375m Circuit of Wales (CoW) near Ebbw Vale.

Grist, originally from Ebbw Vale, said the planned circuit had the "potential to go all the way to Formula 1".
