A century ago one of the greatest ever storytellers was born in Llandaff, Cardiff.
Roald Dahl's books have been the bedrock of countless childhoods with more than 200 million copies sold worldwide and lovingly translated into 59 languages.
His widow, Felicity recalls, the story of Dahl as a schoolboy in Llandaff, when he and three friends played a trick on a reputedly terrifying local sweetshop owner.
She inspired his character, Mrs Pratchett.
