Wolfscastle farmer: Losing cattle to TB 'horrendous'

A "refreshed approach" to combating tuberculosis in cattle is set to be unveiled by the Welsh Government later.

It promises to target different areas of Wales and use the "most appropriate and effective" control measures.

Farming leaders want to see the inclusion of a badger cull in the new bovine TB plans - a move fiercely opposed by wildlife groups.

Meurig Harries, from Wolfscastle, Pembrokeshire, has lost nine cows in recent weeks to TB - a tenth of his 90-strong milking herd.
