Public toilet closures 'distressing' says Crohn's patient

Not being able to find a public toilet can stop people from visiting places, campaigners have said.

Damian Bellis, from Llanfairfechan, was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2011, a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

The father-of-three, who had surgery last year leaving him with three ostomy bags, said people with chronic medical conditions - like his - relied on public toilets.

He said not being able to find a toilet could be distressing.
