Abergavenny Chronicle 'unashamedly traditional' newspaper

As the latest regional newspaper circulation figures come out, Liz Davies, editor of the Abergavenny Chronicle talks about how there is still room for traditional local newspapers.

Ms Davies, who has been with the weekly since she was a trainee 28 years ago, said there was still an important role for a paper in local democracy.

Her newspaper's circulation of 6,000 is holding steady and is also growing its online presence.

BBC Wales arts and media correspondent Huw Thomas also asked people on the town's streets about their news habits.
