Chronic cattle TB cases must be tackled, says Lesley Griffiths

Environment Secretary Lesley Griffiths wants to tackle a core of TB outbreaks on cattle farms in Wales lasting, in some cases, up to 16 years.

Ms Griffiths announced what she called a "holistic and new approach", which will see the country divided up into areas depending on different levels of risk from the disease.

The chronic cases - over 18 months - amount to 10% of infected herds.
