Oldcastle Primary School, Bridgend, praised by Estyn

A Bridgend primary school has been praised by Estyn for how its approach to maths is also helping other schools.

Oldcastle Primary was highlighted by Estyn for how it teaches numeracy - and also its collaboration with other schools to help them improve too.

Jeremy Thompson, head teacher, says they were the first school in Wales to use the Numbers First programme, developed by Edge Hill University.
