Wrexham fire: Village Bakery badly damaged by blaze

A large fire has broken out at a bakery in Wrexham.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews can be seen at the site of Village Bakery on Coed Aben Road, Wrexham Industrial Estate.

All of the company's staff are safe and the blaze is now under control.

"It's a very large fire," said assistant chief fire officer Richard Fairhead.

"Thankfully we don't usually have fires of this size in north Wales."

The family business was founded in Coedpoeth, Wrexham, by a father and son in 1964.
