Covid: Boris Johnson 'politically paralysed,' says Mark Drakeford

Boris Johnson’s government is “politically paralysed” and unable to take action to protect England from Covid, Mark Drakeford has said.

Wales' first minister said England was a “global outlier” when it came to coronavirus.

“Here in Wales we have a government that is capable of acting and determined to act when that is necessary,” he said.

His comments came as Mr Drakeford announced Covid restrictions would not be relaxed in Wales.
