Storm Eunice: Wales prepares for up to 100mph winds as storm hits

A rare red weather warning has been issued as Wales prepares for Storm Eunice.

The Met Office has warned parts of the country could face winds of more than 90mph (145km/h).

Hundreds of schools have announced they will close and all trains have been cancelled.

The Met Office’s Aiden McGivern said: “There’s the risk of damage to structures and flying debris, the risk of coastal flooding and very large waves.”
