Assisted dying bill too dangerous to allow, says Finlay
An expert in end-of-life care has said proposals to allow assisted dying are "too dangerous" and "close to euthanasia".
Baroness Ilora Finlay, a former Welsh government adviser, warned MPs against voting in favour of a bill to legalise the practice when it is debated in the Commons on Friday.
She said diagnoses can be wrong, and she had seen people in "absolute despair" recover from serious illness.
