EU referendum: Don't sleepwalk out of union, Hain warns

Leaving the EU would damage Wales more than any other part of the UK, Lord Hain has warned.

The former Welsh secretary and minister for Europe has been unveiled as manager of Welsh Labour's campaign for the UK to stay in the EU.

Prime Minister David Cameron is renegotiating the terms of the UK's membership of the union ahead of a referendum he has promised by the end of 2017.

Lord Hain said supporters of continued EU membership faced a fight to win the campaign.
