UKIP candidates 'being parachuted in' to Wales
A leading member of UKIP in Wales has said he will quit the party if ex-Tory MPs Neil Hamilton and Mark Reckless are "parachuted in" as candidates for the assembly election.
Kevin Mahoney claimed such people had done nothing for Wales, warning UKIP leaders against "cronyism".
The Vale of Glamorgan councillor, who said he had been chosen as lead candidate for the South Wales Central list, told BBC Radio Wales he would stand down in solidarity with local contenders who had been overlooked.
