Stephen Crabb: Deal gives 'strong' basis to stay in EU

There is now "a strong and pragmatic basis" for the UK to vote to stay in the EU, according to Welsh secretary Stephen Crabb.

The Preseli Pembrokeshire MP was speaking before attending a cabinet meeting to discuss a reform deal struck by Prime Minister David Cameron for the UK's continued membership.

Mr Crabb said the Prime Minister had "done good" in negotiating the deal.

Britain will vote on whether to remain in the EU on Thursday, 23 June, Prime Minister David Cameron said on Saturday.
