EU referendum: No guarantees on Wales funding, Patel warns
Welsh EU funds could end after 2020 even if the UK stays in the union, a Tory minister backing Brexit has claimed.
Wales is pegged to receive £1.8bn in EU structural funds over a scheme stretching from 2014 to 2020.
Pro-EU campaigners claim Wales benefits more than other parts of the UK from EU funding and should continue to do so.
But UK Employment Minister Priti Patel, visiting Cardiff, said cash cuts looked certain as more countries joined the bloc.
