Youth parliament to provide 'direct connection' to politics
A youth parliament for Wales will help children come up with ideas that will "inspire us all", the presiding officer has said.
Elin Jones returned to her old school in Lampeter, Ceredigion, to launch the formal consultation on the plan, backed by all parties in the assembly last October.
Young people are being asked for their views on the youth parliament's name, aim, membership, role and values.
"When young people feel engaged, interested and enthused then certainly they get involved," Ms Jones said.
