Syria: 'Government killed my family'

United Nations peace envoy Kofi Annan has arrived in Damascus for talks with Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad.

It follows widespread condemnation of the violence there which left more than 100 people dead including many children.

Foreign Secretary William Hague has again called on the Syrians to implement Mr Annan's six point peace plan.
