Christians targeted by foreign Jihadis in Syrian war

The BBC has uncovered evidence that minority Christians are being increasingly targeted by foreign jihadis fighting in the Syrian civil war.

The growing sectarian nature of the conflict has been underlined with the aerial bombardment of a historic castle dating back to the crusades and seen as a symbol of Christian presence in Syria.

Crac de Chevaliers was bombed by government fighter jets after rebel snipers took up position inside.
