Aid to Egypt under EU discussion as turmoil continues

Security officials in Egypt say at least 24 police officers have been killed in an attack in the Sinai peninsula.

Suspected Islamist militants ambushed two buses in which the officers were travelling, outside the town of Rafah.

Meanwhile, European Union diplomats are holding an emergency session to discuss the crisis in Egypt.

They are debating the EU's response, which could include cutting some of the billions of dollars in aid.

Frank Gardner reports.
