Catholic church orders survey over views on church teachings
Roman Catholics across the world are being encouraged to complete a survey about what they think of the church's teaching on sensitive issues such as contraception and gay marriage.
The global questionnaire was ordered by Pope Francis and the results will be discussed by bishops in 2014.
The head of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales said it will allow the church time for a period of "deep reflection".
