Queen's Baton Relay: Success of women's cricket in Tanzania

Cricket in Tanzania continues to grow in popularity despite being one of the poorest countries in the world. The female cricket team is living proof that sport really can save lives.

In the past fifteen years, former player Kazim Nasser has been a driving force in developing Tanzanian cricket.

The recent introduction of women's cricket in Tanzania has had a profound effect on women's lives in the country, not only in developing sporting skills but also through offering them help with education, employment, accommodation and health care.

BBC reporter Mark Beaumont, who is travelling with the Queen's Baton Relay, joined Kazim Nasser and some of Tanzania's female cricket stars to discover how women's sport is changing lives in the heart of Africa.
