Missing Malaysia plane: CCTV thought to show pilot security check

CCTV footage has emerged via YouTube that is believed to show the pilots of the missing Malaysia Airlines plane shortly before it took off.

The footage seems to show the plane's pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah, 53, and co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid, 27 passing through security at Kuala Lumpur airport.

Mr Zaharie joined Malaysia Airlines more than 30 years ago, and was considered a very experienced pilot. Mr Fariq recently graduated to the cockpit of a Boeing 777.
