Nato 'complacent' about Russia threat warn MPs

MPs are warning that Nato is poorly prepared for a future attack from Russia on one of its member states.

The Commons Defence Committee says Russian actions in Ukraine suggested "serious deficiencies" in Nato's readiness to deal with threats and said that radical reform was needed.

The MPs said the risk of a conventional assault remained low - but warned over methods such as cyber-attacks and the use of irregular militias.

Nato said it would study the findings.
