Australian news cameraman survives carjacking
An Australian news cameraman got more than he bargained when he was sent out on a day's work.
On his way to gather footage of an unfolding hostile situation for the evening news, Peter Steer found himself face to face with the suspect, who appeared to be armed.
"I just hope that she's alive," suspect Jordy Brook said.
With what looked like blood on his hands, he asked the cameraman to call the police.
Tom Donkin reports.
