Ebola crisis: is the outbreak over?

The total number of reported Ebola cases is more than 22,000. In Liberia alone, more than 3,600 people have died from the disease.

But the number of Ebola cases in Liberia has been steadily decreasing, with only four confirmed cases in the week leading up to 25 January.

The focus for health officials is shifting from containing, to ending the epidemic.

So, has Ebola been beaten? Here is an analysis of the numbers.
