Leaders arrive for the G7 summit in Bavaria

World leaders have gathered in Germany for the G7 summit. The two-day meeting is likely to be dominated by the crisis in eastern Ukraine and Greece's struggles with its foreign debt.

Germany's Chancellor, Angela Merkel, will put forward her plans for a radical reform of global responses to pandemics like Ebola and stress the need to help developing countries tackle climate change.

On Saturday, thousands of demonstrators took to the streets ahead of the opening of the summit.
