Coca-Cola and McDonalds call for Blatter to stand down

Coca-Cola and McDonalds have called on the president of Fifa, Sepp Blatter, to stand down immediately, rather than in February of next year.

The companies are among Fifa's major sponsors.

Mr Blatter was last week placed under criminal investigation by Swiss authorities; he denies any wrong doing.

His US lawyer has said Mr Blatter will not not stand down early.
