Migrant crisis: The plight of Syrian refugees in Turkey

Europe is facing its biggest refugee crisis since the second world war. In the last year, just over a million migrants have entered the EU illegally.

The majority are fleeing Syria's civil war. 2.7 million Syrian refugees are now in Turkey, waiting to take the dangerous boat journey across to Greece.
