Brazil's President Dilma Rousseff removed from office

After more than five years serving as Brazil's president, the country's Senate has voted Dilma Rousseff out of office.

Ms Rousseff said she was ousted for supporting a corruption investigation, which led to high-profile politicians being charged.

The centre-right PMDB party's Michel Temer has been sworn in as Brazil's new leader, ending the 13 years in power of Ms Rousseff's left-wing Workers' Party.
