Hurricane Matthew bears down on Florida

Hurricane Matthew is now moving up the coast of Florida, with winds of 120 miles an hour whipping up waves in some places, as high as a double-decker bus.

There are warnings of the threat of flooding from a storm surge, while more than half a million homes have been left without power.
